Kendell Healy is a theologian, pastor, and teacher whose work reflects a particular interest in Scripture, systematic theology, and the life of the Church. He completed his undergraduate studies in Theological Studies at Regent University, graduating magna cum laude with a 3.98 GPA, and later earned his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary, also graduating with a 3.98 GPA and membership in the Theta Phi International Honor Society. His academic interests include biblical studies, systematic theology, Wesleyan thought, Christian ethics, and the historical and cultural worlds in which Scripture and Christian theology developed. He is proficient in Koine Greek and maintains a working interest in Biblical Hebrew. In ministry, Kendell has a particular passion for teaching rather than traditional preaching, approaching the pulpit as a place for careful engagement with Scripture, its historical context, and its theological implications for Christian life.
Alongside his theological work, Kendell has maintained a lifelong interest in the creative arts. With a background in classical music as a pianist, he has long been interested in the relationship between disciplined study and creative expression. That interest also finds expression in portrait photography, one of his particular passions.
